Google confirmed Don’t Change Your Links To HTTPS from your Backlinks
Google Gary Illyes from Google said on Twitter that “We Don’t Recommend Changing Your Links To HTTPS, Redirects Are Fine “.
He also said :
it’s not worth it.” He said the difference is so minimal, since you have the redirects in place, that you can be doing so many other important things to make your web site better than go around asking people to add an S to the HTTP of your links.
@pip_net if your redirects are properly implemented, the benefit from doing that is so minimal that IMO it’s not worth it.
