Google App Indexing Now shown In Search Analytics

Google declared this morning that native humanoid Apps that participate in Google‘s App indexing currently can show information within the Google Search Console (formerly called Google Webmaster Tools).

So now, you’ll be able to understand what queries folks are checking out and clicking into your app for within the Search Analytics report in Google Search Console. Plus, you’ll be able to use the Fetch as Google to visualize however Google sees your content among your App. this can be pretty cool!




The Fetch as Google feature in Google Search Console now shows it even for apps! It is a beta/alpha, you can test it over here for your apps. Here is a picture of the output, if it works right for you:

Associating your site with your app is necessary for App Indexing to work. Plus, it helps with understanding and ranking the app content better.
