The internet in North Korea is heavily censored and only available to the hierarchy. North Korea has a Domestic Network (National Intranet) ‘Kwangmyong’ for the Korean public which reports on The President Kim Jong Un’s activities, announces news from the Workers Party of Korea and boasts of the country’s achievements. It does not allow access to foreign content and can only be accessed in North Korea. Since 2013 a few android tablets have been available for purchase and these devices can access Kwangmyong.
