Today, Everyone is now focusing more on social media engagement for their business on channels like Facebook, But most of them don’t know the right way to increase the engagement on Facebook, as Facebook has changed a lot in their post reach algorithm.
But in this post I am going to share out some tips or ideas for increasing Facebook post engagement using videos, Here are some suggestions below:
1) Inspire Your Facebook Viewers :
Post some interesting inspiring videos for your viewers and then see their engagement with the video’s that you have shared. Don’t overdo anything as people don’t like to see repeated stuff and Inspirational videos get more shares and engagement than sales messages.
You can create some free good videos of your messages by a tool like Animoto.
Share your Video messages in Video Communities they did a great job in sharing good videos. UPS did a great job sharing this story from a charity, which also helped to raise money through their own site.
2) Educate Your Audience :
Give your audience to watch something from which they can learn and implement in their work or their daily lives, this is because it attract them to share or view the tips that you will shared through the education by sharing some educating video for them.
The Food Network also has quick-tip videos that get a lot of shares. A video of the chef creating the recipe in 15 seconds links to the recipe itself to drive traffic.
3) Entertain them through Videos :
Don’t get the entertain word in wrong sense J, entertain doesn’t mean to share some laughing joke or cat videos , Entertain your targeted page audience through some backstage interviews and interesting cartoon videos related to your business so that people will not think about you as a entertaining business page who shares interesting laughing stuff, so keep the pace of your business theme with the entrainment stuff.
BuzzFeed regularly posts humorous videos that get lots of shares. The video below is just a series of images and text set to music. It received more than 45,000 views and 620 shares in 17 minutes.
4) Adding a Featured Video will work :
You can add a good featured video on your Facebook page to tell people about you and about your business rather than text in video, because like to watch incomparsion to read. Facebook can only enable this feature for you if they want, you can’t request for it. But I think you can do customization with your Facebook page by going to video tab on your page and adding featured video into it. It will appear on the top of your about section stuff.
5) Create a Playlist of interesting Videos :
It is always good to have a playlist with some interesting videos for users which they love to watch and share with their friends at one go. So it is advisable to add playlist to your page I know it’s a limited feature but it is very interesting as BBC networks use playlists to feature different shows. Currently there is no way to link to a specific playlist, but hopefully Facebook will add that feature soon.
6) Use the “Watch Video” Call-to-Action :
The Facebook Call-to-Action button allows you to draw attention to a video on your website from your Facebook cover image. This can be a traffic-driver for people who visit your page.
7) Boost Video Views With an Ad can be Good:
Although, it’s not a right way to share videos to increase views for your video, As Facebook has a thumb rule create something which inspire people on Facebook to share, but if it’s not working then you can do some video boost for you through news feed ads.
Dove has some very inspiring videos that they also sponsor with a boosted post.
8) Embedding Facebook Videos in Blog Posts is Very Good :
This Method is my favorite one because it will give you natural stats for your video because people who like to read your content may be like to see your video too then it will always be a good option to embed relevant videos from Facebook to your blog posts to increase video views.
To embed Facebook video, first navigate to the full video post. Click on the date stamp on the post or go into the Video tab and select the video. Select the Embed Post link on the right sidebar. When you click Embed Post, a pop-up box will appear and you can copy and paste the code onto a blog post or website.
