Sony Pictures’ computers hacked by Hackers group “Guardians of Peace”

There is bad news for Sony:

Sony Pictures’ employees around the globe are still locked out of their company computers after they were hacked on the 24th by a group calling itself the “Guardians of Peace.”

Sony Pictures suffered a massive data compromise forcing the company to shut down their network on Monday.

The person who claims to be part of the group and identifies himself as “Lena”. He already said : Sony left their doors unlocked, and it bit them,” Lena also wrote. “They don’t do physical security anymore. Sony doesn’t lock their doors, physically, so we worked with other staff with similar interests to get in.”

Sony has been facing a string of cyber attacks recently. Last week, a hacker group DerpTrolling attacked Sony’s PlayStation Network, 2K Games and Windows Live, and published email addresses and passwords of gamers. Possibilities that the hack was fake, however, were not completely ruled out.
